HCAC Quality health care conference & Exhibition 2010

Specialty hospital has participated in the HCAC Quality health care conference and Exhibition 2010, which is the first conference for HCAC.
The specialty hospital share experiences with many health care organizations from 38 countries, who follow the same goals regarding quality in health care setting.
The conference was rich in exploring vital issues related to quality and patient safety and what is needed to make changes from lessons learned , shared successes, and the changes needed in the way forward on our common journey for quality improvement .
Specialty hospital is an accredited hospital by HCAC and JCI
Dr.Fawzi Al-Hammouri the General manager and one of the Steering committee member was participated as a moderator for the workshop ( the role of governance and leadership in driving quality improvement ) by the speaker Dr. Tracey cooper, chief Executive of the interim health information and quality authority.
Dr. Sahar Al- Masri the director of quality and pharmacy departments & member in the organization committee was also participated as a speaker for the lecture : The impact of accreditation on hospital performance,( specialty hospital experience ),she was also as a moderator for two sessions during the conference.
Mr. Hashem Abusneneh the Director of H.R & marketing department participate as a chief of the booth for the hospital during the conference, many participants also from the hospital attended the conference for many lectures and workshops.

Category: Hospital Newsقام فريق من مجلس اعتماد المؤسسات الصحية HCAC بعمل تقييم لتطبيق الاهداف الوطنية لجودة وسلامة الرعاية الصحية في المستشفى التخصصي بتاريخ 20/12/2009
وقد ابدى المقييمين رضاهم عن ما شاهدوه من تطبيق لتلك الاهداف في جميع اقسام المستشفى والتي تضمنت :
1- التعرف على المريض وذلك باستخدام اسم المريض ورقم الملف الطبي ويكون ذلك قبل أي اجراء طبي او تدخل جراحي ، قبل اعطاء الدواء ، قبل اعطاء الدم ، وقبل اخذ العينات للمريض
2- مراعاة السلامة في استخدام الادوية عالية الخطورة
3- بالنسبة الى الاجراءات والعمليات يتم التأكد من الموقع الصحيح من الجسم ، الاجراء او العملية الصحيحة ، والمريض الصحيح
