The Council of the Commission for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions and Quality Assurance headed by Prof. Dr. Dhafer Al-Sarayrah, Chairman of the Commission, decided to renew the Specialty Hospital certificate of academic accreditation as a teaching and training hospital, as it fulfills all the requirements of academic accreditation standards for teaching hospitals.
Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri, General Manager of the Specialty Hospital, stressed on the role provided by the Specialty Hospital in preparing, qualifying and training doctors within educational and training plans, programs and curricula to ensure the quality of medical education outputs. Al-Hammouri also expressed his pride in the distinction of the Specialty Hospital's graduate doctors for having high success rates in the Jordanian and Arab medical boards.
Al-Hammouri indicated that the hospital has provided the appropriate study environment, including the library and financial resources, in addition to the human resources in terms of the teaching staff supervising the training, as consultants supervise each specialty until the end of their residency period, and then they apply the Medical Council exams to become specialists. The hospital has adopted best practices and international standards for higher education since the teaching program began in 2006, since then the Specialty Hospital contributed to training and graduating nearly 450 doctors.

And the implementation of these standards leads to achieving a higher caliber of education and enhances its competitiveness regionally and globally.
