From the first working day of the hospital, the operating theaters started as one of the most important sections with four operating rooms. Due to the increased number of operations, in quality or quantity and according to increasing the commitment of hospital and increasing the belief in the importance of operating room section, the administration of hospital decided to expand the operating theaters to reach a total of 16 operating rooms containing the newest designs and technologies

This section constitute from the following:

• 16 operating theaters with unique designs equipped with the latest surgical technology in the market.
• Use of  the modular steel structure in the construction rather than the traditional building which gives the structure a unique design with no hidden corners to make sure that all room air is circulated through the special HEPA filter 26 times/hour which gives the theater ultra clean air with laminar flow.
• The special vinyl-wall coating with bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties maintain the infection prevention rules to keep this standard as high as we could, which will be reflected on very low post-operative wound complications and secure the safe surgery principles.
• Special care was given for the doors which operate with no touch technique as well as the scraping sinks which maintain the above mentioned rules regarding infection prevention.
• Of course since safety is a priority concern to us, the special conductive vinyl for the floor and the electro-surgical generator which contains the REM technology makes the electrical hazard to the patient an obselete issue.
• Surgical lightning system with LED technology which is the most advanced system in lighting without shadow used in long operations with a central camera to document the operation and with audio visual communications.
• Operating tables which accommodate all types of operations and positions with all needed accessories.
• All rooms are equipped with very high tech anesthesia machine
• Dedicated well trained staff available 24 hours 7 days a week, this includes on site anesthetist, technician and enough OR nursing staff
• The presence of anesthesia devices for each room is very modern and the staff are trained and qualified to use these devices
• There is an induction room for the kids at the resuscitation section

Laparoscopic operating room: Endoscopic surgery theaters which are the state of art technology in endoscopic surgery excused by Stryker Company, which is specialized in this field of surgery.The facility in this OR enables the surgeon to be in command of all equipment and can operate them by voice activation technology. Documentation and archiving for all the procedures, communicating with other colleagues through the hospital, country and even overseas through a Tele Medicine, Tele Surgery, Telel conference facility. This suite is equipped with the latest equipment and surgical instruments considered unique in the area and a considerable achievement in the quality of laparoscopic surgery in Jordan, includes a gastric sleeve operation laparoscopy and the presence of the latest instrument.

Orthopedic operating rooms: It includes two rooms that are equipped with the latest cutting-edge global devices, and surgical equipment and miscellaneous arthroscopy with (4K) technologies and replacement joints .

Cardiac and vascular operatingrooms : with two heart lung machine, flow meter, and a heating cooling machine which enable the department to operate on two patient simultaneously. These types of surgeries are conducted by a highly qualified team of surgeons, nurses and technicians.

Dental and maxillafacialoperating room: with latest dental chair from the German company Seronal, in addition for all instrument needed.

Orthopedic, Trauma and joint replacement room: with high Tech C-ARM containing memory and vascular software to enable surgeons to do some interventional procedure in the same room, here the patient will benefit most from ultra clean air technology especially the joint replacement patient’s.

Neurosurgery operating room:Two different rooms that are equipped with the latest range of surgical microscopes from Ziess Company, including micro instruments for laparoscopic disc by very small wound Ophthalmic operating room:with dedicated well trained staff, the operating rooms has two machines phaco and Vetrectomy surgery from ALCON company, in addition to the sophisticated ophthalmic microscope from Moller Weidl company and the ability to achieve all ophthalmic operations through the DVD in internal circuit, including device for the vitrectomy and liquid glass phaco and rehnopathy.

Kidney transplant operating rooms: which includes 2 connected rooms for the donor and the recipient with no need to go outside the room,therefore preventing accident in transportation and keeping the infection prevention issue in control. In addition to the new (HD) monitor for laparoscopic kidney transplant.

Urology and plastic surgery room :which is equipped with the latest urological instruments like scope of all degrees and lithotripter ultrasonic and pneumatic with PCNL system which expand the utilization of interventional urology in the presence of advanced C-RAM also the plastic surgeon can use the microscopic surgery with the availability of surgical Microscope, include U/S for prostate and lazer machine for crushing stone in the ureter and nephrectomy operation by laparoscopy.

Gynecology and obstetricoperating room :which is equipped with the latest technologyfrom (3) surgical rooms with different surgerys (elective and emergency ) such as; Caesarean section and D&C and laparotomy,  laparoscopic surgery  (hysteroscopy + laparoscopy )  with full trained staff and only a female team.

IVF operating rooms :Two operating rooms dedicated in the IVF center, which are well equipped with the latest technologies related to reproductive medication and directly connected to the IVF lab.
