The laborsection is one of the most active wards in the Specialty Hospital. We receive all kinds of the delivery cases from normal deliveries to cases that have the possibility of turning into C- sections. We also monitor PET cases and pre term labor pain cases as well as performing post-delivery monitoring services
There are three operation rooms, one recovery room, and another room to receive the baby after caesarean section.
The labor ward
It consists of several labor rooms each is equipped with specialized delivery beds and advanced monitors for both the mother and the baby which are connected to central main monitor located at the nursing counter.

The labor ward is run by a specialized team of medical and nursing staff with high competencies and experience.
The spouse is permitted to witness delivery and stay with his wife in the labor room where each mothers utmost privacy is respected
What is unique of our section?
For pregnant patients, fetal heart is continuously monitored to ensure fetal movement and heart plus intensity of contractions (labor pain) to avoid premature birth or induction of labor without medical reasons.
Labor pain process is managed by a specialized team through epidural analgesia after proper explanation for the patient and signing the consent or by giving the patient IV pain killer (moderate sedation) which mildly alleviates labor pain.
These cases are monitored by labor ward team in cooperation with anesthesia team.
After caesarean section, patients are transferred to recovery room for follow up by a qualified nursing team to ensure patient's well being and privacy.
